Virginia Schnauer BMA (Com)
I have a large basket of skills developed over many years; in business, working with community groups, raising a family.
After selling my business in 2000 and I intended to retire. I discovered retirement wasn't for me I needed a new challenge.
Challenge I got, four thoroughly enjoyable years learning new communication theories. I graduated in 2005 with a Degree; Bachelor of Media Art Communication.
After many requests, from friends and community groups, a new career for me emerged:
- building web sites
- publishing books and journals
- working as a business mentor through Business Mentors New Zealand
- preparing advertising, designing business cards and stationery and much more.
I have discovered helping people achieve their dreams is far more exciting than being retired. I have lots of community projects which I do for love.
Working from home; sometimes in my camper van helps to keep my overheads low.
My business name ComStrat Design, is an abbreviation of Communication Strategies, which seems to fit with the variety of work I do.
